Thinking in Systems: A Primer(opens in a new tab) - Donella Meadows. Re-reading this, asking Claude to challenge me after every chapter. Been fun so far, but making sense of the claudisms, not so much.

Why Machines Learn: The Elegant Math Behind Modern AI(opens in a new tab) - Anil Ananthaswamy. A phenomenal book that just explains the math behind everything around us.

Inference Engineering(opens in a new tab) - Philip Kiely. If you look past the marketing speak for baseten.com, this is a great book to learn about inference.

Notes from Underground, White Nights, The Dream of a Ridiculous Man, and Selections from The House of the Dead(opens in a new tab) - Fyodor Dostoevsky. I’m on my “re-read all your favourite classics” arc. This time reading the Signet Classics edition, with the fantastic translation by Andrew MacAndrew.
